We are the official provider of special funeral service options for Birmingham City Football Club and Blues fans. We offer three levels of services and a range of optional extras, enabling you to create a funeral for your loved one that reflects the passion in their life.
If you wish to take advantage of a football funeral option, you will first need to sort out the initial funeral arrangements and costs with your funeral director – whether you require burial or cremation, and where and when the funeral service is to be held. Once these basic arrangements are dealt with, you can add on the football fan services either as a package or as individual elements. You may also wish to consider a headstone or memorial personalised with the club crest.
Our Bronze Funeral includes the following:
- Coffin lining and gown decorated in club colours, and the coffin set with the club crest
- Inscribed memorial brick placed at the stadium
- Hire of the club flag to drape over the coffin
- Where the route allows, pausing at St Andrew’s Stadium
- Memorial entry on our In loving memory web page
Our silver option includes everything in the Bronze Funeral, plus a wreath in club colours valued at up to £75.
The Gold Funeral includes everything from the silver option, plus:
- a four-line entry in the Book of Remembrance kept at St Andrew’s Stadium
- interment of the cremated remains at St Andrews Stadium in the presence of family and friends
- Bronze Funeral: £100
- Silver Funeral: £175
- Gold Funeral: £199
For those who do not wish to take a complete football funeral option, each element is available individually:
- Coffin lining and gown decorated in club colours, and the coffin set with the club crest: £25
- Inscribed memorial brick placed at St Andrew's Stadium: £50
- Hire of the club flag to drape over the coffin: £10
- Memorial entry on our website (including your photo of your loved one if required): £60
- Funeral cortege pause at the club grounds at St Andrew’s Stadium: no charge where the route allows
- White hearse with blue regalia: no charge, if in place of a regular hearse
- Wreath made up in club colours: £75
- Four-line entry in the Book of Remembrance at St Andrew’s Stadium: £60
- Cremated remains of the deceased interred at St Andrew’s Stadium in the presence of family and friends: £60
